Okay, so I'm not really dying, but I FINALLY have 2 seconds of downtime to post something to the girls I miss the most. First of all, so sorry I kinda have fallen off the face of the planet since school got out, it's definitely been a crazy few weeks. I don't know if any of you guys know, but my grandfather passed away the Friday of finals so I had all kinds of services to go to and family to hang out with when I got home. It has settled down a little bit, but I'm currently taking 2 classes, Christian theology (online) like Chels, and a psych class at UCONN. Needless to say, I have no life. It was fun when Peach and Mollie came for a visit (if you havent seen the pics and vids check em out on FB :) ) but it's been right to work since then. Now I'm trying to get everything together for the first of 2 weddings I'm in (dresses, shoes, presents, etc) while planning the bridal shower and bachelorette party for the other one...hopefully you guys are having fun this summer and spending lots of time at the beach for me! :) But really, I miss you all tons, and sorry this has turned out to be a novel, but I feel like its been forever since we've all talked to each other. Soo... Chels: when do you leave for Austria? Joy: is that internship working out for you? Laura & Lauren: How is it up in the Wenham area? Shannon: How was la vidaaa?? Kate: any news about next year? Faith: what are you up to this summer? Gil: you have a class....at the BEACH?? Krystal: are you getting lots of time to soak up the Cali sun? Peach: ...come live with me and help me not die during our 5k..thanks.

CONGRATS on being on the CCC all academic team! that's super exciting :))
I leave for Austria on July 8! I'm super excited, once mayterms over I get a whole 3 weeks of no classes haha.
I'm actually not doing camp because I realized with the flight coming back I'd only have 2 days of being there, so I'm gonna go visit legs and some other people who are doing the British Theatre program in Scotland, and I will get to MA on the Friday before preseason!
How's psych going? Do you like it as much as you thought you would?

ReplyDeleteThe internship is going great -- actually I also found a job :) I work for a landscaping business 3 days a week planting flowers and gardening its actually a really great job and I am really thankful I found it :)) I miss you too! I am glad you emerged to let us all know you are alive :). Good luck with all the wedding planning :))). When are they? (I know you told me but I forget). Also I am really sorry about your Grandfather :(.
Oh P.S. I did the 5K colormerad in Hartford! and I survived! :) So you DEFINITELY WILL I AM SURE OF IT!! :) Its also a blast and I hate running and I actually somewhat enjoyed it haha. :)

And I already had a blogger account so I didn't have to make a new one!! hahah I am so sorry to hear about your grandfather! but other than that you sound like you are having a wonderful summer vacation! and AHHHH 2 weddings! I'm so excited for you! sounds like a ton of fun! (i love weddings...theyre actually my favorite thing) lol AND i am signed up for vball camp! super excited to spend the time with you girlliessss! so pumped. and LA VIDA was fabulous. super hard and grueling but i did it!!!! I AM A LA VIDA SURVIVOR> AWWW YEAHHH. i was on hiking and for all you la vidaers: BUSH WACKING is crazy!--anyone? its basically where you have a compass and you dont follow a trail and you go throughout the Adirondacks following this little compass. it was my favorite part of the trip hahah...and my group was fabulous along with my sherpas. I had Nick White and Hannah Greenwood. Does anyone know them? Well, if anyone has the pleasure of meeting them: they are wonderful people of God. i love them. BUT anyway. that's enough for me. Lakeside starts in 2 weeks where I'm super excited to be a counselor for the whole summer...so I'll let you all know how that goes! LOVE YOU ALL! and cant wait to see you!

ReplyDeleteI AM enjoying the sun so much here - definitely getting to the beach as much as I can :) I'm actually leaving for Israel soon though, which I was just about to do a post for, so I guess that I'll do that now.

wowwww i suck at this blog thingy...i just tried to comment and i wrote out this whole good thing and then it deleted it...haaaa guess who? ReplyDeleteI am taking historical perspectives and I tried doing the reading at the beach but I got too distracted watching people, having the sun in my face making me sleepy and just swimming, lol.
I dont think I've told coach that I'm coming for camp. I should email her soon, I did fill in the paperwork though.
